Question of the Week:
When posting your resume online on sites such as Monster.com, do you keep your address and phone number confidential or make it visible to anyone who sees your resume? What are your thoughts on maintaining your privacy when job hunting?
I think you should *always* have your resume current and available with your up-to-date contact information on job websites like dice.com and monster.com. This is true even if you love your current job- you never know when a better opportunity will come to you and if you are not out there you will be overlooked. It's a good thing to be regularly contacted by recruiters- helps you gauge your current skill set in the marketplace and may lead to a better opportunity.
